The cold air bit [Name]'s cheeks as she continued trudging her way through the snow. She knew it wasn't a good idea to be outside for long during the Russian winter, especially when it snowed, but she couldn't help it. [Name] figured Ivan must be lonely, (wasn't he always?) and planned a surprise visit to see him. The snow that was falling and swirling in a flurry became denser, and it became harder to see around her.

"What are you doing, [Name]?" Ivan suddenly appeared in front of her, causing her to jump with surprise. She hadn't been able to see him coming through the thick blizzard brewing around them. He looked at [Name] with confusion: Why would she be outside in such dangerous conditions?

"I could ask you the same thing." She answered with a smirk, quickly recovering from the shock. She stopped her attempt at a fast pace for a moment, allowing the Russian to fall in step with her as they continued towards his house.

"I like the cold." He replied, a small smile etched on his face. True, the chilled air felt like second nature to him, but only because he was eternally cold. His cheeks were only a little pink, something [Name] envied. The rest of her face, including the tip of her nose, were a bright red. She began to shake, despite wearing a warm sweater underneath her large winter coat, as well as thick gloves with matching hat, and a fuzzy scarf Ivan himself had given her.

He looked at [Name]'s shivering form for a second, then reached over and grabbed her gloved hand. He squeezed it gently, hoping to transfer some warmth through the thick material. The thought was sweet, but her teeth chattered on.

"W-Where's your house again?" She stuttered, breathing in the familiar scent of her scarf as she desperately held it close to her face.

"We're here." He stated simply, opening the wide door. He stepped to the side, allowing [Name] to go in before him. She entered the house, breathing in the warmth that seeped through her body, running from her toes to the tip of her nose. She crept farther inside, allowing the Russian to enter his warm home as well. She shimmied off her winter gear and made her way to the plush couch that sat in the center of his living room.

"You're so cute." Ivan smiled, looking down at her as her face wrinkled in pleasure once her body began to thaw. He took off his large coat and hung it up, sitting next to [Name] and effectively taking up the rest of the space on the couch. Their shoulders brushed against each other, the simple contact not going unnoticed by either person.

Noticing that her hands were still red, he grabbed her tiny hands with his larger ones and held them tenderly. [Name] sighed with contentment as the warmth from his hands transferred to hers, earning another smile from the Russian. She looked into his large violet eyes, taking in the warmth they offered her.

She barely noticed as his arms wrapped themselves around her waist, pulling her even closer to him. A small gasp escaped her lips as she was pulled into his lap. Before she could struggle or mumble a complaint, she noticed how warm he was. She leaned her head against his broad chest, her delicate hands falling on top of his forearms. One arm tightened it's grip on her waist, the other rubbed the small of her back, earning another small moan. His face burrowed itself in her neck, causing [Name] to squeal.

"Thanks for stopping by, [Name]." He murmured, pressing his lips against the soft skin of her neck. His hands left her body and came back to her cheeks. He smiled slightly at their cool temperature; he'd have to fix that. He kissed her softly, his thumb gently rubbing over her now-heated cheeks.

They broke apart after a few seconds, violet hues staring lovingly at [e/c] ones. Ivan planted a final kiss on her forehead before taking a glimpse of the world outside their little shelter.

"The storm has gotten much worse...You will be staying here tonight, da?" She rested her head against his muscular chest once more, closing her bright eyes as she listened to the steady beating of his heart.

"Of course."
