Wang Yao didn't know what to do anymore. He was having problems not only within his own country, but in dealing with the others as well. For someone as old as him, bouncing back was more difficult then it used to be. Now, he had to sit through another pointless World Meeting, listening to the others fight while he desperately tried to come up with a solution.

"That won't work..." He mumbled, slamming his head down on the table.

"Dude, China. What's your deal?" America had stopped talking (a miracle!), and looked down at the pitiful Chinese man.

"Aiyah.." He muttered, refusing to look up.

"What you need is a drink." The American came around and gave him a hard pat on the back, causing China to look up and glare at the young man. "I was just tellin' British Dude-"

"Don't you dare call me that!" England's gruff voice interrupted, but America ignored him and continued.

"-that we should go drinking sometime." Bright blue eyes met tired amber ones.

Maybe I should...It's been a while since I've had a break.

"Fine." China huffed, standing up. The rest of the Allies seemed to be copying his actions, but at this point, he didn't really care. He just needed something to take his mind off everything. If it took a drink or two to ease his aching mind, so be it.

"Are you sure everything is alright?" Russia fell in step with him as they began to walk towards the nearest bar.

"Yes, yes." He replied hurriedly. There was no need to bring the Russian into his problems.

"If you are certain." Ivan replied with a smile, seemingly unfazed by the Chinese man's apathetic attitude. "If you ever need me, I will be around. You could always become one-"

"No." Yao's eyes widened a little at such a request. However, the bar appeared in front of him, giving him a reason to excuse himself from Ivan. Wang Yao sighed; he might as well enjoy himself. It might be a while before he could get another break.

Ten drinks later

"Bloody...wankers!" The Brit choked out, clearly drunk. Arthur had started a rant on how much he hated Alfred and Francis a few minutes ago, ignoring the fact that both men were sitting on either side of him. They themselves had had a few drinks, but seemed quite sober in comparison.

Russia had the most alcohol out of everyone in the room, yet he seemed unaffected by all the vodka flowing through his veins. Ivan had sat with Yao, attempting to converse with him once more, but had left after a few "subtle" hints from China. Wang Yao had come for the drinks and nothing else, and finally felt a certain buzz somewhere after Alcoholic Beverage #4.

"Dude, that girl over there is totally checking you out!" The loud American returned (much to Yao's displeasure), pulling up a chair and sitting next to the tired Chinese man.

"You really think so?" Yao sat up, ignoring his aching bones as he looked over to where the woman was sitting. She was by herself, a drink in front of her as she made polite conversation with the bartender. At that moment, she turned around, giving him a small smile and blush.

"I know so." The American helped China stand up, and watched from afar as he stumbled, attempting to approach the [h/c] girl.

Oh crap, is he drunk?! I didn't know old people could get drunk!

"H-Hello there." Wang Yao stuttered, offering the young woman his hand. "May I know the beautiful lady's name?"

By this time the other Allies had stopped arguing and gave their attention to the now-drunk China.

"Should we...help him?" France whispered quietly, but the American shook his head.

"Dude's gotta do it himself." Alfred ordered himself another drink. This was gonna be good!

"I wish I had a nice lady friend." England admitted sorrowfully, looking across the bar wistfully. "Women are nice."

"Mon ami, you are the saddest drunk I've ever known." Francis shook his head, long locks shaking back and forth.

"Shhhh, it's about to get good!" America shushed them, eyeing the odd couple once again.

"What's your name?" He asked again, bluntly this time, cocking his head to the side as he eyed her features. This girl had lovely [h/c] hair that shone in the dim lighting, along with [e/c] sparkling eyes and a pair of lips that seemed to love to smile. Wang Yao shook his head; was this what love felt like? Or was it just the alcohol he had consumed?

"[Name]." She said sweetly. [Name] paused for a moment, waiting from him to reveal his identity. When he didn't, she stared at him, confused. He didn't seem to be the type to play mind-games, but here he was, sitting on her left, just staring at her. [Name] fidgeted; those chocolate brown eyes were beginning to make her a little uncomfortable.

"Wang Yao." He answered suddenly, breaking [Name]'s train of thought. "By the way, do you know karate? Because your body is kickin'!"

Silence.

[Name] quite honestly didn't know what to say. She decided that this Wang Yao was most likely a nice man, just incredibly drunk.

"Let's have breakfast together tomorrow; shall I call you or nudge you?"

"Alright, I'm leaving." [Name] quickly stood up, grabbing her purse and making a dash for her car. She really had wanted to give the guy a chance, but he was just too...out of it.

The Chinese man seemed genuinely concerned about her leaving. "W-Wait! I only have three months to live!"

[Name] was already gone.

Loud laughter could be heard from the other end of the bar.

Wang Yao had had enough drinks for the night. He grabbed his coat and other belongings, and began his journey home for some sleep and silence from all those loud lights that wouldn't shut up around him.

Needless to say, China had a rough night. Drinking his problems away had not helped him in the slightest. It only lead to a massive headache the next morning and a stack of work that seemed to have grown even larger from the last time he saw it. To top it all off, the Allies had decided to have a meeting first thing in the morning.

He plopped his head on the, groaning. Absolute hatred wasn't nearly descriptive enough to describe how much he bitterly despised the other men around him.

"So, did you have fun last night with [Name]?" A certain Frenchman approached the weary Wang Yao, winking at him and earning a snicker from the American.

China closed his eyes for a moment, letting the question sink in before answering.

"...Who?"
